After the success of Rumble in 2004 director Markus Michalowski returns to Dublin with this hilarious three-hander for one. Bruno, a local character at a little railway station somewhere in Italy, gets thrown out of his rhythm by the appearance of a new multimedia screen. He sets off with a travelling magician causing small and bigger catastrophes to his new employer and the theatre technician. The fusion of silent movie comedy, magic and slapstick as the three characters step in and out of the screen, has enchanted audiences and critics alike in its homeland Germany. Fun for the whole Family. Written by Michael Moritz. Directed by Markus Michalowski. |
