First there was Shep, then came Rex, now please meet Fido; a cocaine-snorting, champagne-swilling dog and star of the latest installment in the critically-lauded Dog Show series. A debauched and excessive tale of a gurrier mutt just out of the pound and ready to delve headlong into contemporary Dublin, just as the Celtic Tiger limps away with its tail between its legs. Where will Fido’s next line come from? This grotesque, lurid Dublin odyssey will draw you in with puppy dog eyes before shedding all over your mind.
